The Friendship Cafe

Farouk (below) spends a few hours a month looking after the statistics, but many hours as a volunteer with important matters such as the Archery, the Website, and everything else at Friendship Cafe.

Malcolm (above) was one of our original gym members who started volunteering when he undertook the Level 1 Fitness Instructor Course arranged by GymNation and then later trained to become a Level 2 Gym Supervisor. Malcolm has now passed his Level 3 Personal Instructor course and is a paid member of the Gym Team, and takes new members through the health & safety and exercise programmes.

Rich (above) is another of our experienced Personal Trainers.

Ashraf the Mechanic & Youth Worker, at the Muslim Directory Boxing Exhibition held at West London, May 2008. Day job is mechanic with the Glos. Fire & Rescue Service. Ashraf is also a qualified Gym Instructor and Assistant Swimming Instructor.

Phil (above) is qualified as a Gym Instructor and First Aider and introduces new guys to the gym every week on a voluntary basis.
