Next Stroud Meeting
Monday February (TBC), 7.30-9pm
The Peacemakers involves informal social meetings approximately every two months for people from different religions (or none) to get together and share a meal, usually brought in by those attending.

Eliyahu McClean, (left) a Jewish Peacemaker from Israel, Reverend Geoff Crago from the UK (centre) and the late Shaikh Abdul Aziz Bukhari from Jerusalem address the audience at a meeting in March 2008. Three seperate faiths connected through one common ancestor, Prophet Abraham (Peace be upon him)
Inspired by the visit from the Late Shaikh Bhukhari and Eliyahu McClean 26 people from the Muslim and Christian communities of Gloucestershire visited the Holy land in 2008.

The trip included visits to the key sites in Jerusalem and to various community projects, plus to Hebron/Al-Khalil where Prophet Abraham is buried and to Bethlehem. Unfortunately, the 2009 trip was dramatically terminated, but that's another story!
