Established in 2008 through the goodwill of a group of volunteers. They wanted to ensure that this sport could be brought into the heart of our community but not just for one off awareness days run by specialist providers. Funds from Community Counts, Rainer Crime Concern and the Gloucestershire County Council Children's & Young People's Department helped set up and establish an Archery Club that both adults and children could use.
The Friendship Cafe Archery Club has, to date, 5 qualified Archery leaders who between them run weekly sessions and also taster sessions at events and fundays.
If you would like us to run a session at your event or if you would like to arrange a private group session please contact us. Please note that external events are subject to a small charge, availability of our volunteers and a satisfactory risk assessment being completed.
So from the seed that was planted back in 2008 the Archery Club has grown from strength to strength. This due to the committment and extreme dedication from our volunteers who spend countless hours every week and behind the scenes to make sure that the club operates smoothly.

The Archery Club is open to all!
